My Why – Creating art has always been a form of visual storytelling for me. It’s a way to translate the vastness and majesty of our natural world into something intimate and expressive. I believe that learning and exploring is key to becoming the best version of yourself, so I have remained focused on exploring different materials and different sources of natural inspiration. The handcrafted piece you have selected serves as a bridge between our wild places and the stories I have encountered along my learning path.
Background – My creative path is rooted in a Bachelor of Fine Arts, an experience that taught me how to translate raw observation into visual narrative. This academic background remains the heartbeat of my work, helping me distill the ‘grandness of nature’ into intimate, functional art. I approach each piece as a personal sculpture.
Process & Materials – In alignment with my commitment to the environment, my functional art is handcrafted primarily using reclaimed metals and locally sourced elements. My process is one of transformation: taking forgotten materials and refining them into interesting expressions of the wild. These pieces are a tangible record of my dedication to sustainable creation.
Nature For You – When you choose a piece from my collection, you hold a piece inspired by the majesty and splendor of the natural world, and a reminder that every day is an adventure into something new.
