Show: Woodinville Art Alliance Art Walk at Woodin Creek Kitchen & Tap

My artwork focuses on organic forms of the natural world—the silhouettes of forests, oceans, and animals. By sculpting with reclaimed objects, the art becomes a practical reflection of my values as a conservationist. It allows me to create fine art that honors Earth’s resources rather than depleting them. For me, a piece is more complete when its beauty is matched by its sustainability, serving as a visual reminder to tread lightly on the landscapes that inspire my work.

When you bring a piece into your home, you aren’t just acquiring an object—you are joining a movement toward a more circular, intentional, and beautiful future. See more about conservation and giving back below.

I use reclaimed wood, metal, glass, and other objects in my finished pieces. You are welcome to ask me where the parts from your piece came from, as I curated them all myself from multiple sources.

Precious Drop – Held in highest regard, the beauty of the life-giving source of water, is adorned in sparkles, as the light hits it in freefall. Reclaimed copper wire, crystal beads, acrylic paint, reclaimed wood. 10.5″ by 15″ $200

Swirls of Life – What if you could feel a leaf growing? That’s the energy I captured here: energy flowing from the roots of a giant tree to its tallest leaf’s tip. Once its job is done, it falls to the ground to nourish the earth below. Reclaimed copper wire, reclaimed Austrian crystal beads, acrylic paint on reclaimed wood. 10.5″ by 16″ $200

Shimmer of Flame – Warmth, comfort, and sometimes destruction, which brings new life. Fire is its own circle of life. I’ve captured the many colors and shapes of flame. Reclaimed copper wire, reclaimed Czech crystal beads, hand blown glass bead, acrylic paint on reclaimed wood. 10.5″ by 15″ $200

The three works above are a series called Elements of Life. If collected together, the price for all 3 is $525.

Grace in Transformation

This work is an ode to the rhythmic elegance of an uncurling leaf—a study of life in the act of becoming. It traces the rhythmic evolution of a soul moving through a gradient of forest shapes and colors into the celebration of the grace that happens through change. Reclaimed copper wire, European crystals, blue. Mounted on rich black velvet and framed by unfinished, reclaimed pine. 12″ by 21.5″ $550

Blue Spirals – The movement of an ocean wave’s curl brings me incredible serenity. Repeating waves are expressed here in metal, glass and wood. Aluminum wire, handblown glass beads, reclaimed birch wood. 15″ by 15″ $280

Gold Tendrils & Droplets – What does a vine look like when rain falls across it? I love the shimmer of wet plants in our Pacific Northwest forests, and have captured curls and tendrils with hints of life-giving rain. Gold plated copper wire, green crystal beads, hand blown glass teardrop beads, lush black velvet and reclaimed wood. 10.5″ by 15 $220

Amethyst Crest – I love the movement of waves as they crash upon each other, then roll back for another round. The endless circularity of waves during a purple sunrise is drawn in wire and glass. Aluminum wire, handblown glass and crystal beads, reclaimed birch and cedar wood. 22″ by 22″ $380

Midnight Marsh – In the copper light of the moon, cattails and rushes bow over a tranquil pond. Reclaimed copper wire, crystal beads and teardrops, acrylic paint on reclaimed wood circle. 10″ diameter $150

Moonlit Fairy Ring – This is a bug’s-eye view of a family of mushrooms, gathered this evening to collect sparking dew on their caps. Reclaimed copper wire, crystal beads and teardrops, acrylic paint on reclaimed wood circle. 10″ diameter $150

Amber Wave – Have you ever sat near the grasses of a Pacific Northwest beach? This portal evokes the seaside at sunset, or prairies of wind-tousled grasses. Lightly painted wood gives an ethereal feel to the finished piece. Reclaimed copper, hand blown and glass beads, reclaimed painted pine. 8″ by 8.5″ $90

Giving Back:

I believe that our impact on this planet is the most enduring art we leave behind. My mission is to prove that we can inhabit a world of “polished perfection” without exhausting the very resources that inspire us.

I actively support people and missions that serve to aggressively improve the wellbeing of our natural world. For each art show, I choose one non-profit conservation organization and donate 10% of all collections to them.

This art walk’s purchases benefit Sea Legacy, a group dedicated to ocean conservation.
